BECE Welcomes Elijah Thorpe As Law Clerk
BECE is excited to welcome Elijah Thorpe as its newest Law Clerk!
Elijah is a rising 2L at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He was raised on a family farm in West Jefferson, Ohio where he developed an appreciation for the needs and issues facing agriculture. His upbringing inspired him to pursue a career in law, largely because of its service-oriented future.
Before attending law school, Elijah worked in Risk Management at Cincinnati Insurance while he earned his bachelor's degree from Miami University in Economics and History.
In his first year of law school, Elijah has assisted in founding a new organization within Moritz: the Rural Law Society. The organization's aim is to bring together students interested in the legal challenges facing rural and agricultural communities.
Elijah is eager to serve and is passionate about helping those working in agriculture.
