BECE Welcomes Sheena A. Sjöstrand As Senior Associate Attorney

BECE is excited to welcome Sheena A. Sjöstrand to the firm as a Senior Associate Attorney focusing on Estate Planning, Farm Succession & Transition Planning, and Probate & Trust Administration.

Sheena is a seasoned attorney with 15 years of legal experience and a reputation for combining sharp legal insight with genuine care for the people and communities she serves. Practicing in Central Ohio, Sheena has built a respected legal career marked by professionalism, compassion, and a deep commitment to service.

After earning her B.A. in English and International Relations from Hendrix College, Sheena completed her legal education at Capital University Law School, where she concentrated in dispute resolution. She also studied literature and history at the University of Oxford, gaining a rich foundation in critical thinking and communication—skills that continue to define her work today.

For more than a decade, Sheena served as a partner at Hayes Law Offices, Inc. LPA in Pataskala, Ohio and handled a wide range of legal matters with a practical, solution-oriented approach that clients trust. Her experience extends beyond the courtroom: she has served as a Guardian ad Litem, mentored aspiring legal professionals as an adjunct professor at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and held leadership roles on regional and international boards. Her thoughtful, informed presence has made her a sought-after speaker at both national and global conferences.

Sheena has been honored repeatedly as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and named a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation. Through these roles and recognitions, she has demonstrated that strong leadership can be both principled and approachable.
