BECE Joins NGFA & OABA at 2025 Washington D.C. Summer Legislative Fly-In
In June, Attorney Eli Earich attended the Annual Washington D.C. Summer Legislative Fly-In hosted by the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA). Eli attended both as a member of the NGFA's Ag Policy and Legislative Affairs Committee and as a proud partner of the Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA).
Eli's day on Capitol Hill was spent lobbying key House and Senate Ag Committee members on a variety of issues ranging from passage of a new Farm Bill, investment in transportation, promotion of fair trade, and re-authorization of the U.S. Grain Standards Act.
Senators John Boozman (AR) and Amy Klobuchar (MN) provided general comments to the group and individual meetings were held with the offices of Rep. David Taylor (OH-02); Rep. Michael Rulli (OH-06); Rep. Erin Houchin (IN-09); Rep. Victoria Spartz (IN-05); and Rep. James Baird (IN-04).
